Naruto Gaiden Chapter 700+5
"The World to Come"
The chapter continues with the unexpected meeting of father and daughter in Sasuke and Sarada.
Contrary to our first assumptions that Sasuke might not even know he has a daughter it is revealed here that he indeed know Sarada and recognizes her when she start calling him dad. Naruto then comes in with Chou-chou from which Sasuke questions him on why he brought the children with him.Sarada then interrupts this and says she came to meet her father, once she heard that the Seventh was meeting her father she made ways in order for her to meet him and ask him about her "real" mother. And right about that moment we shift to Shizune and Sakura talking about the same thing in which they later find out according to Shikamaru that they were headed to the Mountain Pass Tower. Sasuke then asks what happened and this pisses Sarada off saying that he was never around and doesn't spend any time with his family. She also interrogates Sasuke about the picture of him with Karin which she confuses as her being her"real" mother. She also ask him where the hell he's been and what he's up to that he completely ignores his family for Sasuke only replies that it does not concern her at all. Sarada then rushes to out the door and Naruto comes after her.
The scene then flashes back a few years where we see Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura having a meeting with the Kages. Sasuke reveals here that while they were able to seal Kaguya in the last war the white zetsu soldiers were the one that actually laid the preparation for the war to happen so Sasuke tell them that he continues his investigation of the remnants of Kaguya and finds out that they were created long, long ago. He also finds out that it was a ninja that gave birth to them which could only mean that there might be a threat in existence even greater that Kaguya just waiting to appear.The kages then decides that they still lack sufficient info regarding this matter, Sasuke then volunteers himself as the one to investigate as hes the only one capable of following traces of Kaguya using his Rin'negan. Sasuke then tells Naruto that this is his way of "cooperation". He also ask everyone there to consider this as "top secret mission" and should never be revealed to anyone. Back to the present, Naruto consoles Sarada saying that she should trust him in saying that her father is a ninja greater than any other (just not a great dad). As Sarada nods in agreement to Naruto she remembers her mom then we see a panel with Sakura running most likely headed to the tower herself.
The scene then shifts to the enemy where the face of the leader is finally revealed while shouting the Rebirth of Akatsuki. We now see that the design of his mangekyou sharingan is similar to Shin and has multiple sharingan seemingly implanted over his body. We also get a panel with a background of his other followers who are clones of Shin.
With the mini juubi using kamui once again they start they attack and they warp near the tower where Naruto and Sarada are. Sasuke senses this and so does Naruto and just before the attack landed he activates Bijuu mode and blocks the attack.
After this the enemy leader prepares for another assault when suddenly in comes Sasuke and now we have a clash of sharingan!
